China and Vietnam（越南） initialed （开始）in Beijing Sunday two agreements on the demarcation （标定）of territorial waters(领海) ，the exclusive（独占的） economic（经济的） zone（地区） and continental shelf（大陆架）, and fishery（渔业的） cooperation in the Beibu Gulf（北部湾）. |
| Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Vietnamese counterpart（相应的人或物） Le Cong Phung inked the two documents. Negotiations （谈判）between the two countries on the demarcation(划分) of territorial waters in the Beibu Gulf have been going on for years. Chinese and Vietnamese fishermen have a traditional cooperative（合作的） relationship in the Beibu Gulf, and the fishery arrangement（安排） is an important part of the demarcation. China and Vietnam will officially（正式的） sign（签署） the two agreements Monday when Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong starts his China visit. |
